The Converting Documents into HTML course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively convert documents into HTML format while ensuring accessibility and responsiveness.   • HTML and Web Accessibility: Familiarize yourself with HTML structure, elements, and semantic markup, and learn how to apply web accessibility principles, including WCAG guidelines, to ensure an inclusive user experience.  No coding is required as we will use our default structures provided in our Content Management System (CMS).
  • Document Analysis and Planning: Learn effective strategies for analyzing and planning document conversion projects, including identifying content structure, hierarchy, and determining appropriate HTML elements.
  • Converting Documents to HTML: Explore techniques for converting documents into accessible and well-structured HTML, including preserving formatting, optimizing headings, adding alternative text to images, and ensuring proper semantic markup.
  • Semantic HTML and Accessibility: Dive into the importance of semantic HTML and its impact on accessibility, including proper use of headings, lists, tables, forms, and other HTML elements to enhance document comprehension and navigation.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Understand effective collaboration strategies with stakeholders, content creators, and developers during the document conversion process, and learn how to document conversion procedures, techniques, and accessibility considerations for future reference.
