7 Pillars of Digital Accessibility

7 Pillars of Digital Accessibility

The U.S. has adopted the WCAG standards to provide guidance on a wide range of digital accessibility topics. Our initial focus is on seven key aspects—referred to here as Pillars—that are most relevant to achieving accessibility in course materials and learning platforms.

Explore the pillars so you are prepared to create accessible content for your courses this Fall.

Action Step: Take 10-15 minutes every week to engage with one of the Seven Pillars and its How-To Suggestions. By gradually integrating these practices into your work, you'll build confidence and be well-prepared to implement them  in your Fall courses.
