The Digital Accessibility Liaison for each unit serves as a point of contact for digital accessibility compliance. They participate in the University’s annual Digital Accessibility Self-Review process, facilitate communication between their unit and the UVA Digital Accessibility Team, and are invited to attend Digital Accessibility Liaison meetings where they benefit from the collective knowledge and skills being shared. The Digital Accessibility Liaison ensures that people in their unit know they are the primary contact and are willing to answer questions about accessibility or route them to appropriate resources.
