Get the low-down on manual testing (and why you need it)
Automation is a critical part of your strategy. But at the end of the day, you’re not building websites for machines: you’re building them for people.
No matter how your users interact with your website–through a display, screen reader, or another assistive solution–you need to make sure you’re not inadvertently creating obstacles that slip through the automation net.
Most experts agree that automated solutions only pick up less than 40% of accessibility issues. That’s where manual testing comes in, keeping the human perspective in your digital strategy and identifying the hidden issues that users face every day.
